Seeking for Dutch based business partner(s) / investor(s) to launch a sustainable packaging (& a recycling) firm in DRC
Uitleg:

Congo, DRC has an urgent need for good packaging products. At the moment all of their packaging is imported (with high costs) and as for what is being produced localy, the quality is very poor. We are currently working with the Dutch Embassy and the Congolese Ministry to set up a packaging project.

Aim of the project: to launch an innovative and sustainable packaging firm in the Democratic Republic of Congo by partnering with an established
Dutch-based packaging company.
Location: Maluku (economic zone)

(Next to this, we also wish to launch a recycling project to go alongside the packaging one.)

Through this collaboration, we aim to supply better and more competitive packaging within the DRC – to release the country from its current “import dependency” – and to create fair employment opportunities for the locals.

Our long-term vision:

We also aim, through this collaboration between the two countries, to start exporting from the DRC to the international market, including the Dutch market, while offering competitive benefits to all economies involved.

We are currently seeking for Dutch business partners / investors from within the packaging sector willing / interested to launch a packaging firm in the DRC through a joint-effort.

Anyone has a lead? Many thanks!

Land:

Could you be more specific with regard to the location where you intend to establish your packaging and recycling firm?

Hi Egbert,

It will be in the area of Kinshasa, towards Maluku. The specific area falls under the current project "Zone Economique" (economic zone).

Thanks, Francis
